Our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the success of our fundraising dinner-dance on Saturday, January 28 at the Portuguese Athletic Club. Volunteer chefs Jorge and Manuela Pires prepared a delicious dinner of alcatra. Alcides, Rosa Maria, and Emily graced the evening with their artistry. And the PAC donated their beautiful facilities and china. [...] POSSO celebrated the holidays with its traditional Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 17. POSSO thanks the generosity and good will of friends and volunteers. Artist and entertainer Emily once again graced the afternoon with her special talent. Volunteers from the Mt. Pleasant High School Portuguese Club served refreshments to a full house. Our computers are very old and have been repaired many times by our expert volunteers who now tell us that they are beyond repair and must be replaced.
