Matter of Balance Program

Seniors are invited to participate in a program that will help to maintain their health and independence — the Matter of Balance Program.  Many seniors lose their health, mobility, and independence due to falls that are preventable.  This program teaches seniors how to maintain their balance, prevent falls, and improve their health and security.  It is now being offered at the Portuguese Community Center every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m.  Please come by and speak with Rita Fontes and our volunteer nurse, Sue Avina, for more information and to enroll in this important and informative series of workshops.
